New timelapse video on YouTube

 

Shot this timelapse in Cambodia last year, and finally got around to editing it and putting some music to it. Apologies for the chunky resolution of it… I’ll upload a higher res version to YouTube sometime soon.

Angkor Wat and the surrounding temples are literally being over-run by us tourists… Bec and I really felt like we were part of the problem over there. It really is an amazing place though, and if you persist, you can find a few quiet places in the forest, and even stumble upon some lesser temples and outposts that make you feel like you’re discovering them for the first time! rare event though…

More likely you’ll be fending off temple urchins trying to sell you a bangle, whilst simultaneously choosing a new ringtone for their mobile phone. Or a squad of young girls from the UK will wander by talking about a pair of jeans they bought that were, you know, perfect, completely ignoring the thousand year old temple that surrounds them. Such is life…
